- Child Abuse
- Homelessness
- Shelter Referral
- Harassment / Bullying
- Mental Health Issues
- And many other related issues
Canyon Crisis and Resource Center is proactive in providing services and programs to victims of crime and violence and to persons in need in our community, reaching these frequently underserved individuals and families with much-needed support.
Since 1985, we have served thousands throughout the North Santiam Canyon, in Mill City, Gates, Detroit, Idanha, Lyons, Stayton, Sublimity, Aumsville, Mehama, and other small cities and communities within our rural area.
Each month we serve approximately:
35 Victims of Crime
and/or Violence
50 Families and/or Individuals
with Immediate Needs
20 Persons for Shelter
120 Persons for
Information and Referrals
And Numerous Others
for Miscellaneous Needs
What Do We Do?
- All Our Services Are Available
to the Public for Free - Provide Individual and Family
Counseling from Licensed M.S.W. - Teach Safety Education
- Offer Outreach Services
- Provide Ongoing Support
and Assistance - Offer Peer Counseling
- Give Information and Referrals to
Other Services and Programs - Provide Necessities: Blankets, Clothing,
Shampoo, Deodorant, etc. - Partnership with Many Services
in Marion / Linn Counties
